About me

I am an aspiring producer and I am a very hardworking person who does not like to be idle, which can be proven with my most recent employment. My recent job was for Disney in a role that has provided me with a major opportunity to expand my knowledge of the television and animation industry. I am a Co-ordinator for a specific channel within Disney, called Jetix, which is a very varied role. The channel consists of a few Co-ordinators, all taking on different roles and territories. This was a Maternity Cover contract and after this I wanted to move into Production, as this is where my passion lays. I am more than willing to relocate in order to do this.

Before this I worked for a small visual effects company where I undertook the role of Production Assistant and being trained in Production Co-ordination. Whilst working there I worked on advertisements and television programmes. I Co-ordinated a few advertisements but worked closely with the Producer on the television programmes. Whilst at University I have been involved in the production of my own films and helped others with theirs. I acted as a Producer when the BBC Wales Roadshow came to Lampeter and offered a student-controlled production; I have created scripts and been involved in other studio productions where I undertook different roles. From this I am hoping that it is clear how much I want to pursue a career within production.
