About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been consciously looking for a junior copywriting role within a reputable agency and believe I have the skills and strong aptitude to succeed within an integrated boutique agency.

In 2009 I graduated with a BA Hons in Advertising and Brand Communications; a sector I have become fully engrossed with.

During my three year I was commended with a D&AD award for our integrated campaign for Blyk which you will find through my online portfolio *

From past experience within a Communications agency; I was able to grasp the inner workings of agencies within the real world. Initially my stay was planned for 2 months but was extended to six months; as a result of my hunger towards work. I had the opportunity to work alongside Ivan Pollard who is now currently the Vice President of Global Communications for Coca-Cola. He would direct me to work alongside both creative and strategic sides of the agency and I would be invited to various development meetings and was commended for my creative ability and confidence to express new ideas in front of a wide audience.

Directly after University I worked for a national skip hire company as a business developer. As part of my responsibilities I managed and planned media spending and budgets. Additional to this I was responsible to create advertisements through the use of photoshop and Illustrator.

When I joined The Skip Company it was a start-up brand ; I was able to assist with its gradual growth as well as having a taster into web design and SEO. Applying this gained knowledge to track and monitor visits to our site with which I was able to improve customer interface and optimising exposure.

I hope this has provided you with an insight to my background. If there is any further information you may like; I would be more than happy to discuss further.

I look forward to hearing your response.

Best wishes,

Amrit
