About me
Hi, I'm Mia (Maria Eduarda Cunha), and I'm a passionate filmmaker with a strong focus on video editing.
As a graduate of Cinema and Audiovisual, I've built a solid foundation in screenwriting, directing, and, most importantly for me, video editing. My journey has been all about refining my storytelling and technical skills through a variety of training and hands-on projects. During my time at university, I had the opportunity to direct the short film "Ainda Estou Aqui" (2024) and the music video "Praça da Bíblia" (2022). I also enjoyed the process of writing the screenplay for the short film Apenas um Clique (Just a Click, 2023). It was incredibly rewarding to see these projects selected for various festivals. My fascination with narrative led me to participate in the "14º Curso de Formação Profissional - Núcleo de Desenvolvimento de Roteiros Audiovisuais", where I completed the Fiction TV Series Screenwriting module with Francine Barbosa. I also ventured into the exciting world of interactive storytelling by taking part in the Game Script workshop within the "Trama - Narrativas Audiovisuais e Criação de Roteiros" project. This really expanded my perspective on creating immersive experiences. Currently, my research centers around the innovative ways we can create interactive narratives by bringing together the magic of cinema and the engaging dynamics of RPGs. My attention to detail and technical expertise make video editing a key area where I bring stories to life with precision and a creative touch.
