Dear Sir,

I am contacting you as i am extremely interested in a vacancy you have available. I have just successfully completed a Book Art and Design degree course, so i am keen to join a new and exciting design team.

I adore stationery and paper products and find it easy to relay this skill and incorporate a refreshing approach to a standard digital design. I like to try and include a personal feel to the art work, and then further the design by enhancing it digitally. I am very competent with Adobe Photoshop, and can use Illustrator and InDesign well. I have a definite skill and passion towards typography and will always strive to complete an aesthetically pleasing layout.

Over the last year of my degree, i had a permanent work experience position with Jane Press stationers. It greatly helped to developing my personal style, but most importantly i learnt how a successful business is run. My tasks involved updating the website and designing new layouts for the site, as well as being in charge of deliveries and inputting data.
