About me

Last summer I graduated from the MA Transportation Program at Umea Institute of Design, Sweden. I am now looking to pursue a challenging career in a fast-paced design studio.

I enjoy new challenges and feel that I learn the most about myself and others when I am outside of my comfort zone. Living in different countries and cultures in the past has presented this challenge to me and I feel that it has helped me develop as a person and as a designer.

At Enkai, I was designing custom fish tanks for high end one-time clients, taking the design from sketch right through to final assembly, usually in the client's home or business. This was a valuable experience where I worked with a team of engineers towards a sole vision whilst keeping to strict deadlines and delivered a high quality end product.

I am highly interested in upcoming trends and technologies and using creativity as a means to problem solving, with the aim to deliver an innovative and inspirational design every time.

Whilst at Umea Institute of Design I was privileged to be a part of a workshop conducted by Professor Marthinus van Shoor, CEO of Mide, a leader in Smart technology engineering. This workshop broaden my horizons and gave me priceless insight into the latest technologies, which I try to incorporate into my designs where possible.

Although I am educated as a Transportation Designer, I have always had a passion for, and have been fortunate enough to work alongside, product and interaction designers. This has given me a greater understanding of the design process and made me better as an all-round designer.

Given the opportunity, I believe I can assist your Design Team as I feel I have strong visual communication in both digital and traditional mediums, a passion for high quality design and a diverse background which can help me grasp a subject quickly.
