About me

As somebody who seeks to develop my career and work in a creative and productive environment, this role is ideal, and I feel that I have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to be an asset to your team. I have an insatiable appetite for all things creative, and love working in thriving environments!

I have experience working on longer term temporary contracts in a variety of different administration roles, as highlighted on my CV. Such roles have required me to adapt to new environments quickly, and hit the ground running. I enjoy meeting and working with new people, and feel that my friendly and professional personality enables me to engage well with everyone.

My English degree background, and subsequent office experience, has allowed me to enhance my written and spoken communication skills, and I feel that these are key strengths of mine. When studying for my degree, I absolutely loved brainstorming ideas, discussing them with seminar partners and working with literary texts that I found inspiring.

I feel that my voluntary work experience reflects just how much I love to actively get involved with exciting projects, allowing me to collaborate with those in the creative field, and express my own ideas.

As a volunteer with the London Asian Film Festival, I worked alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to help manage Q&A events, film screenings, and taking audience feedback. I was required to think on my feet in challenging situations, all whilst maintaining a positive attitude. I used social media to promote the festival, and posted video content online.

Most recently, as a Production Assistant working on a graduate film project with the National Film and Television School, one of my most challenging responsibilities was to source dancers and extras for our film, for no pay, on a limited budget and time constraints. I learned how to use social media and connections, to utilise the school's brand and reputation, the key features of the film, and a positive attitude in securing volunteers.

I aspire to work in a creative, engaging and busy environment, and feel that this role would be ideal to develop professionally and as an individual.

Many thanks for considering my application, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions.

Yours faithfully,

Amanjyot Kaur Bhangal
