About me

As one of the 100 students in USC's Iovine and Young Academy, I spend most of my time researching and engaging in a variety of interdisciplinary projects. I enjoy designing, developing, learning other languages, and reading history books.

Most importantly, I am passionate about merging technology and design to have a positive impact on society and foster cross-cultural communication. In particular, I focus most of my time research the cultural impacts video games have on different societies. I have written papers on the importance of mental health in horror games, the rise of vulnerable protagonists, historical inaccuracies of games, and developing diverse characters. This summer I spent a month conducting my own research in Tokyo on the influence female video game characters have on Japanese society.
