I am writing to apply for the position of Social media executive for TOAST, as advertised on the indeed website. As an English Literature and Creative writing Postgraduate I feel this would be the perfect role for someone of my skills and knowledge. I have been using social media sites, such as Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram and more, for many years, and I believe I can flourish at representing this company using these tools.
I have learnt to be methodical and meticulous in writing and editing. I am capable of producing copy that is both colloquial and formal, suiting all forms of writing you may require. I also have a close eye for detail when it comes to syntax errors. As an individual who loves and appreciates language, I am a keen reader and so my vocabulary is constantly expanding.
I have been running my own lifestyle blog for the past 7 years, and so the desires and demands of an audience are already something I think about on a regular basis, these things include relevance of content in relation to the time of publication, the quality of content compared to competitors and style. I am also more than capable of meeting tight deadlines and thrive under pressure as I enjoy rising to challenges.
