About me
Cinema has always been central to my life. I have dreamed of working in filmmaking from a young age. I am a massive cinephile and love analysing and discussing film and filmmaking at length. This passion has led me to work on many short films, scripts, and internet videos.
I got a bachelor's degree in CG Animation at Bellecour School of Art in Lyon, France. In my final year I was the project leader of an animated short film called Print Your Guy which gathered millions of views, was admitted to over 13 festivals worldwide and winning the audience prize at the Chester International Film Festival. During this time, I discovered my passion for storytelling and managing a team of creatives.
I wanted to improve my theoretical and analytical film knowledge as well as my language skills and therefore studied Film and Visual Culture at The University of Aberdeen. Here I learned an incredible amount about cinema diversifying my skills and interests. Throughout my degree, I spend much time developing my own film projects and became the station manager of the student TV station in my final year. Overseeing the content production at the station cemented my love and passion for creative project management.
During my entire student career, I worked summers at an animation studio, a video production company, and undertook an internship at a 2D motion graphics company. These positions honed my editing and visual graphics skills.
I'm ready to take on a new challenge, eager to learn more, and excited to work creatively.
