About me

I'm friendly and hard working, and have almost 3 years industry experience as a mid-weight surface pattern designer at Calderdale Carpets. My designs are versatile, mainly inspired by vintage finds and flea markets, but I also create bright geometric patterns and characters. I have an eye for detail and travel to antique fairs, art markets and trade shows to gain inspiration and for trend forecasting. I am very passionate about design.

I have advanced knowledge of Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, and Apso Carpet Designer. I work to tight deadlines, creating repeat patterns and can colour separate designs, along with creating in-situ visuals & mock-ups. I also have a knowledge of creating brochures in In Design.

I have previously had experience with screen printing, laser cutting and fabric dying for both fashion and interiors. I have also been exhibiting at various art fairs around Yorkshire.
