About me

Junior / Graduate Position
Having completed my BArch (2:1) and Part 1 architectural experience
with Make last year, I am now looking to work in another design sector.
I believe that a degree in architecture, which requires the ability to
work with many disciplines in mind, gives a firm grounding to work in a
design role.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Make; working as part of the small
Birmingham team meant that I was assigned a wide variety of tasks from
different projects. I was required to be highly adaptable and pick up
new software quickly. My main focus however, was the Cube; my time was
split between the design studio and the Cube site office, where I
worked alongside members of the Birmingham Developmet Company team.
My interests include visiting galleries and museums, all aspects of
design, painting sculpture, music, media, advertising and entering
design competitions. Last year, myself and a university friend received
'In Book' status for the design of an interactive sumertime window
display for Hamleys toystore.
My travels last year took me round South East Asia; Vietnam, Laos,
Cambodia and Thailand. The Central America; Mexico, Belize, Guatemala,
Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
