Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the freelance copywriter position as advertised on Indeed.
Having held the position of Fashion Assistant at British ELLE for almost four years, and Shopping Editor at Net-a-Porter, I am now freelance and bring with me a plethora of experience of working for both luxury and high street brands across both editorial and commercial platforms.
Prior to gong freelance I carved out my career at ELLEuk where I produced daily news, fashion and trend stories as well as contributed to social media, budding the weekly newsletters and writing reviews of products and shows.
During my time at Nat-a-Porter I gained invaluable knowledge of the e-com industry and worked alongside the marketing and editorial teams to produce daily newsletters as well as content for the homepage and social media.
Since going freelance I have worked for a variety of clients ranging from Marie Claire to Levi's. Whether it's a product description, a tweet or an all-encompassing trend email, I have experience in all aspects of copywriting.
As a freelancer, I am also able to draw on my wealth of knowledge from working in an editorial and creative workplace as well as a sales driven, commercial environment.
As a highly organised, committed team player as well as a strong individual worker with strong communication skills, I believe I have the experience, knowledge of trends and brands, and also the personal skills needed to take on such a role and would love to be considered.
