About me

I have a Ba Hons in Printied Textiles and am a qualified teacher of secondary Art and Design. I continue my own practice which is largely illustrative and have experience of running a small successful label, designing, printing and selling illustrated t-shirts and hand crafted textile dolls, with a regular stall on Portobello Market, London. I have recently arrived back to the UK after 18 months in Melbourne, Australia where as well as working as both a supply teacher and on the shop floor for a busy skin care company, I also exhibited and sold work in local exhibitions and started on my own project to write and illustrate a children's book.

As an experienced Art Teacher and also through working for as a sales assistant for a company with a huge emphasis on customer care, I have developed excellent interpersonal skills and am a very good communicator. I am also organised and efficient and comfortable working in demanding situations, remaining flexible and enthusiastic throughout. I am also happy working under my own initiative, bot individually and as part of a team.

I am a very capable and creative individual and am now looking for a new challenge within the creative industries. I am open to new experiences and very willing to learn and will approah any given opportunity with commitment and determination.
