About me

As a Junior UX designer, and having previously worked in the travel industry I have an appreciation for the world we live in and I am very interested in the study of human behaviour. Having studied Psychology at University, I am fascinated in finding solutions to problems humans face. My interest in Psychology was sparked by the twin research study I have been part of since birth, as a twin myself.

Having spent the last 12 weeks studying UX design at General Assembly, I have elaborated the research skills I learned whilst studying Psychology and have developed many new methods of research and design through the double diamond process.

My career in travel consulting came after travelling South America, the Far East and Australia. I knew I wanted to work in a client facing environment and building a relationship with clients whilst understanding and learning their interests and needs was so important for creating their perfect itinerary.

The skills I have learnt through psychology and travel consulting are so important for the skills of a UX designer and have both taught me that all humans are different and that learning the user's needs is so important to inform design decisions. I am excited by the prospect of developing my skills in UX design in a team of people who also love to solve user problems.
