About me

An experienced writer and sub editor. I create interesting, captivating copy and as a writer I have a strong and humorous voice. I have the ability to target particular audiences or write to suit a clients request. Experience includes (from the beggining), writing copy for catalogues such as B&Q, proofreading and training others in the art of spelling, grammar and the written word for the Immigration Appellate Authority. Worked for a boutique PR firm creating unique and exciting copy and press releases for high end consumer products, also created creative copy and advertising for PR firm itself. I co-edit two music pages for the UK's largest free entertainment and listings magazine (69 Magazine) including sourcing, researching, writing pieces and approving/editing other's work. I frequently deal directly with media people, agents etc. I am a freelance journalist and contributor to several magazines. I undertake voluntary work as a press officer for an established national missing pets charity.

I thoroughly enjoy writing of all types and do so professionally and accurately. I work quickly to meet deadlines, and always maintain excellent lines of communication with my employers.
