About me
I have just graduated from Bristol University achieving a 2.1 BSc Sociology degree. Studying sociology has given me a broad base of understanding, ranging from how individuals behave to the workings of the modern global society.
My studies have drawn me to advertising through my dissertation on the Bauhaus. Learning about their developments in graphic design has given me a keen interest and insight into the relationship between the design and the consumer. I am attracted by the way their compositions relied on exploiting subconscious human actions which they then employed to make the design eye catching and memorable.
I am also drawn by the opportunity to use a combination of both creative and strategic thinking and bringing unique solutions to the client. I am practical and hard working and have many transferable skills which I can offer. Advertising requires ambition, resilience and a need to keep an open mind. I believe that these are strengths of mine that allow me to adapt to any situation and actively contribute to the team. It is the harmony between the thought process and visual communications that create a concise message to target the right market niche.
I have much to learn, but I know that my work ethic and ambition will help me to compete in what is a highly competitive industry.
I look forward to hearing from you.
