About me
I have recently graduated from Plymouth College of Art, where I graduated with BA Hons Commercial Photography for Fashion, Advertising and Editorial. More recently though I am based in the East Midlands.
My work focuses on portraiture based both in the studio and on location. Through my work, I focus on the story and really allow the individual to be seen. Working in the studio is something I have always enjoyed due to the technical aspects and being able to have fun with lighting. However, more recently I have found a passion for location photography and the newfound freedom it offers.
During my studies, I spent an extended period of time working as a freelance photographer and continue to do now. This included working in the studio producing portraits for companies and shooting still life for retail websites. With client lead work in the past, I understand the importance of communication between the photographer and client.
I am capable of using a range of camera equipment including Phase One, Hasselblad, Elinchrom and Broncolor. I pride myself on my time management, organisation skills and confidence. Taking on different work and a range of challenges is something that I always want to do.
