About me
I believe that, with my skills, experience and attitudes, I can bring a lot to your company and am excited about this prospect. My background is in Web development; therefore it makes me focused to pursue Website developing as a career choice.
I am proficient in using HTML, CSS, PHP, JQuery, Java and Object-Oriented concepts. My last project at Small Charities Coalition involved monitoring and enhancing the website's traffic alongside a SEO expert; which I was able to complete before the set deadline and for which the company received positive feedback. Other projects I have been involved with include building custom websites and interfaces for clients using various WordPress frame works such as Gantry, Thesis 2.0 and Vagenta. Alongside working on WordPress frame works; I have also implemented many other JavaScript frame works on websites such as Backbone.js, Ember.js and Atoms.js.
W3C standards, SEO and capabilities of different cross web browsers are factors I always keep in mind while designing and developing web content. I have made contributions in several worldwide websites. Dediserve, Decision1 and freshschoolit are some examples of my web development skills. Clear visibility and understanding of codes and regular progress reports are some of the key factors that I keep in consideration when working on a project.
I enjoy working in a team. At university I offered my C-programming skills to Formula1 Society in developing the car's digital dashboard. Similarly, I have volunteered at regular intervals with Provide Volunteering society and lead a team of four volunteers in the 2013 London Marathon.
I am also productive and confident in working independently. You can see me work on a Quad-copter that I created and coded in summer 2014 (github/nir9/quadcopter). Furthermore, working from home for Karigar Corporation improved my decision making skills. Taking initiative whilst working on complex projects and searching for creative ways to tackle the problem are a few of the essentials as a web developer.
Please refer to my curriculum vitae for my further skill matrix and I hope to hear from you soon.
