About me

Creative designer and artworker with number of years' experience working predominantly within print and also strong knowledge and application of motion graphics/editing software such as After Effects and Premiere. Also, have a rich, varied background in freelance illustration which I have recently tempered to utilising within motion graphics work, creating assets and graphics to animate within relevant software.

Have intensively trained up on After Effects motion graphics software (as well as Premiere Pro as a complimentary, secondary editing software) and have also attended an After Effects Adobe-endorsed course at Leeds Beckett University New Technology Institute. Within my motion graphics work have created varied pieces highlighting character animation, use of lights and cameras within 3D space and also typographic animation.

My roles within Accord Marketing and Card Factory have helped widen and expand my technical knowledge. Within Accord I created a large body of press ad layouts and also adhered to brand guidelines for print and online material on a near-daily basis. I also took a large responsibility for the creation and completion of monthly direct mail b2c magazine 'Blue Horizons', creating countless page layouts and also assuring publication guidelines adhered to and material to be print ready. Within my artworking role at Card Factory, I greatly expanded my knowledge of utilising finishes within print, from foils to embosses to die-cut and also a¬¬pplying fifth colours such as specific Pantones.

Previous roles have included work such as extensive book cover designs and print work for Northern Ireland based environmental government body as well as an overseeing editorial role.

Have created work for numerous outlets: transport graphics, 48-sheet billboards, vector graphic wall displays as well as online assets etc and have a strong working application of the main Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and also After Effects and Premiere. I also have a knowledge of coding with HTML/CSS.
