About me
As a Camberwell College of art, BA hons in graphic design graduate, I have participated in several collaborative projects and works ranging over several years of university and after. As I have spent the last few years working as a fabricator I have been building on my strength to work well in a team, though simultaneously demonstrating a well rounded profile working alone. Being able to provide effective leadership not only within a group but personally, maintaining good time management and direction.
Having varied my work hugely I have broadly grown my skills from print to typography, events management to carpentry.
Aside from an over-all good knowledge of Adobe creative suite and type designing on Glyphs I have been steadily developing my skills in hand-rendered type, calligraphy and sign writing. Taking part in small projects or simply practicing with my free time. This has led to developing skills and exploring ideas in photography, layout, printing and binding. I used my knowledge of typography collaboratively with a secondary school typographic workshop in Portsmouth.
I have worked in fabrication for three years under several roles for different companies including production project leader and set dressing & building. Working in fabrication has not only broadened my knowledge or tools and their uses but also has made me familiar with these working environments and how they function.
I have also worked in the catering industry under various roles for many years which have also helped me develop, dealing with the pressure of large numbers of customers in a professional manner while remaining enthusiastic.
