About me
I completed my degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design in the summer of 2011 at Leeds Art College where, among other skills, I became competent in Adobe Photoshop, fluently creating innovative and original sets of prints that could be interpreted through fashion, textiles and interior wall coverings and upholstery.
I have recently completed a 10-month period working as an Editorial Designer for Dalani Home & Living, during which time I was responsible for the layout, design and output of the online magazine, working to strict daily deadlines within a fast-paced start-up environment. As part of my role I regularly liaised with freelance writers and picture editors, reporting to the Creative Director/Editor-in-Chief.
I am now ready for my next challenge and am keen to join a vibrant and competitive company with a view to expanding my skillset and exploring my interest in business and design in the commercial and editorial marketplace.
I'm currently enrolled in a part-time Adobe InDesign course at Chelsea College of Art and am excited about the prospect of developing my skills further. I'm a conscientious and organised individual with a proven ability to work to rigorous budgets and deadlines.
Please feel free to call or email me with any further information.
