About me
Grew up in Moscow where I graduated from Moscow State Technical University as an Engineer in Informational Technologies.
I shifted from technical problem solving to visual problem solving and carried on from there. Starting as a freelancer I created designs for events agencies and bands in Russia.
Willing to understand the entire workings of printing techniques and process I started to work as a pre-press specialist at a local printer, where I stayed for 2 years, putting my hands on almost every process out there — from graphic design to film and plates processing, from silkscreening to large format printing. From there I moved to a design studio in a large advertising holding company, Vazari, working as a designer for clients such as Sochi 2014, Mars and Hyundai, and subsequently as an art director.
In 2011, half way through my DipHe course in British Higher School of Arts and Design, I decided to move to London to undertake an MA in Graphic Design at London College of Communication
I believe the time has come for graphic designers to break all limits of media that we have had for quite a while. I use generative graphics, programming, video, motion graphics, 3d, interactive interfaces — whatever I need to communicate the idea.
