I have been a magazine art editor for the last twenty years. Although my most recent work - as Senior Art Editor on Vegan Food & Living and Women's Running magazines - are set firmly in the Lifestyle sector, I have worked across many different categories including sci-fi, classic pop music, home cinema and US wrestling to name a few. I create original artwork in house style and on budget. Other duties include the development of ideas for cover concepts and feature material; show banners for seasonal events; briefing in-house photographers on cover shoots/feature material and commissioning illustrators. I have never missed a press deadline.
