About me

I am a recent graduate from Lancaster University, where I studied Linguistics and attained a First Class Honours degree.

I am hard-working and motivated, and I don't shy away from tight deadlines. I'm keen to find employment within the marketing, media or publishing industries, as this will enable me to put the skills and knowledge that I learnt at uni to good use.

During my holidays from university, I have been employed by Kent Life, (a local museum and tourist attraction) as part of the admissions team. While this is not directly related to my longer term career goals, it has certainly provided me with many transferable skills that I can use in any job. These include organisation, communication, customer service and team work. As a "front of house" role, it can be pressurised at times, but this is something I enjoy.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a lot) and acting. While at university, I was an active member of Theatre Group, and acted in five plays over the three years.
