About me

I graduated from Leeds College of Art and Design in 2007 with a 1st Class BA Hons degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. I moved to China for a promotion in the fashion design, manufacturing and supply industry where I was responsible for designing patterns, one off prints, garment shapes and graphics for clothing, as well as managing a range of samples for production and local workers. I was later commissioned by a few businesses in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China to create digital artworks, and teach art and English as a Foreign Language to adults and children. I am a qualified art and design teacher, and have experience teaching students in schools in England where I have delivered a range of projects on textiles, digital design and traditional art and design. I have sold designs and fashion products across the UK, and I have shown my pattern work at exhibitions in the North West and Yorkshire.
