About me
I have been working in the TV industry for the last 5 years as a freelance interior stylist and designer, on home design shows such as House Doctor - Channel 5, How Not to Decorate - Channel 5, Selling Houses - Channel 4, and Build a New Life in the Country - Channel 5. The general concept of these shows was to re-design properties to succeed in a sale, or to house a new lifestyle. I have also had experience in Art Directing on programmes such as Big Brother - Channel 4, The Salon - Channel 4 and most recently A Bear's Tail - Channel 4, (Bafta nominated for Set Design). My experience has helped me to really develop skills in interior design both inside of the TV industry and outside. I can adapt to many different creative environments and I have built up a wealth of contacts within the industry. I have worked alongside project managers to create extremely rewarding and successful results in homes across the UK and abroad.
For my most recent project I was commissioned to re-design client spaces such as reception area, offices, meeting rooms etc at Pinewood Studios. This required me to also design furniture solutions, (i.e. Main Reception Desk) which were then manufactured by engineers onsite.
I would offer any employer an ability to manage and maximise budgets, with excellent time management, to meet any given deadlines. I have a wide ranging portfolio of work, and would love to continue adding to it with any new and exciting projects on offer.
