About me

I have 8 years commercial experience within the design industry. Working in and around the North West on various projects including: Corporate Identity, Logos, Brochures, Point of Sale, Direct Mail, Illustration, Advertising, Product Design, Packaging, Formatting, Designing Templates for the web and Stationary Packs.

My skills on the Mac are to a very high standard, mainly using Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xppress, In Design, Microsoft Word, Acrobat and Outlook Express with the latest and up to date software.

My interest in design started from a very early age. I carried on with a desire to work with graphics through school, college then on to Liverpool John Moores University where I was rewarded with a BA (Hons) degree In Graphic Design.

My position now is of a middle weight-senior designer level. Over the past year I have worked on numerous projects including brochure design for events in Manchester, Newsletters, Product design, Illustrations for children's books, Advertisements for the web (cds, games and dvds), Corporate identity, Medical Brochures, Stationary, Flyer's and a large amount of work for the educational sector. (prospectuses, brochures, school documentation) I am involved in the day to day running in roles and on a daily basis I meet with new and existing clients where I am given the brief of the job. From there I begin the work and finalise for print and delivery.I enjoy the challenge of new work and turning the brief into a great job.
