About me

Alex is a certified Design Sprint coach and an award-winning UX designer with a track record working with established companies developing innovative business models and products. With a background in startups and agency design, she founded Korero Studio a design collective that brings together "plug-and-play" talent to deliver Design Sprints, an innovation methodology to help solve tricky business problems and bring ideas to life in just 5 days.

"I've worked for companies big and small, corporates and social enterprises, embedded in teams or as a strategic consultant. Throughout these different projects, I noticed one aspect of business that was more toxic to innovation than lack of budget and time could ever be: endless and unstructured meetings. Discovering Jake Knapps Design Sprint methodology in 2015 and incorporating design sprints into my work has proven to me and my clients that there is a better, more productive and fulfilling way to work. "

A keen facilitator, Alex specialised in delivering design thinking and strategic workshops for businesses and individuals in the early phases of their product or service. Clients include Amiqus, Civtech, Hyper Island, Tribe Women, Creative Edinburgh and MasterCard Foundation.

When she's not running Design Sprints, Alex supports award-winning legal startup Amiqus's R&D arm, produces awareness campaign @diabetesbydesign and is a coach at Tribe Women.
