About me

I am a talented and experienced textile development manager, designer and graphic illustrator, with excellent experience from design and development through to sourcing, production and managing seasonal ranges. I have worked with home-wares and fashion, including both the high street and designer. I have managed a small team in the design department of one of Australia's largest Textile wholesalers. I offered a unique design and development service to the majority of the womens wear sector and also sourced new fabrics for two seasonal ranges and weekly injection ranges including working with the suppliers on price, lead times, minimums, bulk and production. I have travelled extensively and I have an excellent customer service reputation, having built valuable customer relationships.

I can offer high end, innovative, and exciting new fabrics and graphics with a combination of my first class degree in woven textiles, very strong hand drawing skills, cad and print/embroidery experience. This together with excellent and experienced supplier communication, production, research and travel and commercial buying experience I believe I can be a valuable member of the design team.

I have a strong eye for developing new concepts, colour ways and trends. I am a good team member and work very well under pressure. I am very organized and experienced in managing and motivating. I am excited and enthusiastic to take my career to the next level
