About me

In my current role as a Media Technician at Hurtwood House, I already undertake many of the requirements for this post. I help to manage a busy edit suite with six Macs which all use Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite. As a college with many projects on the go at the same time, all of these are uploaded onto Final Cut Server ready for students to edit. I have also edited together various theatre shows on Final Cut Pro using six different camera angles. These are then copied onto a DVD and sent off for duplication and used to promote the college. As we are using tapeless cameras for the shows and projects, we must ensure all file formats have been correctly archived using Compressor before the original footage is removed from our servers.

I am an extremely motivated individual andam always willing to learn new skills and programmes that can help me do my job the best I can. Having worked in different types of production companies, I have seen how both larger and smaller companies work allowing me to understand the production process on different scales.
