Dear Sir/Madam:
I would be delighted to be considered for the job position at your company. Due to family relocation, I'm currently based in London, U.K, so the timing is ideal.
I worked in the film, TV and commercials industry in Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, Athens and Nicosia (Cyprus) for over ten years in different crew positions. I gained international experience by working under pressure in fast paced environments where I had to meet strict deadlines. I was involved in high budget projects and also in independent movies by participating in all production stages.
In addition, I produced and directed two feature films, several shorts, music videos and commercials. My last short Film, "10 Minutes", was awarded with the Gold Remi Award at WorldFest Houston and my first feature, "The Final Payoff", was also awarded with the Silver Remi Award at Worlfest Houston. I am confident that hard work, team spirit and "can - do" attitude can solve the most daunting tasks.
My skills involve knowledge in post- production, working with all the editing programs (Premiere, Avid, Final Cut), basic knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop and also covering live events for TV with software like Wirecast Telestream. Moreover, I worked as a cinematographer, production manager, editor, assistant director, photographer and as a camera operator (DSLR, Sony cameras, Blackmagic). I honestly assure you that my professional background, skills and goals match with the job position.
