About me
Hi, I'm Alex Woodcock and I'm an Art Director and Creative
Designer and I'm currently looking for new employment. I have been
employed for just over a year at the creative integrated agency Clinic
and it's sister company SJS London (formerly Small Japanese Soldiers). I
started at Clinic as a middle weight Creative Designer - bought in to
span the gap between their print and digital departments. Over the course
of the my first year the job the role evolved as such that I now
fore-fill the role of Digital Art Director, overseeing and
conceptualising most digital output, including pitch work, with our
creative directors. I've been in consultations for the past few months to
move my job role further still in that direction and how we can build and
develop our digital department, but, as a company clinic does not have
art directors or any job titles and we're pretty much going around in
circles. Whilst i'm very comfortable and happy at clinic, i'm very
ambitious and want to further my career. It's always been my intention to
progress to a pure Art Directors role, and with 5 years agency experience
since graduating from Chelsea collage of art (2:1 design communication)
coupled with having spent the majority of the last year actually doing
the job I'm definitely ready to step it up.
Ideally I'm looking for a middleweight Art Directors role where i can
work across all media, but i will happily pursue a pure Digital Art
Director role but my main criteria is to be in a good working
environment, where the emphasis is on creating great creative work. I'm
very ambitious and confident in being able to come up with great ideas on
tight deadlines. I'd also relish the opportunity to work alongside
various copywriters as i'm keen to find a great creative fit to join
forces and go forth as a creative team.
Please take a look at my attached CV along with examples of my work that
are on my website, *'d be a suitable
candidate for any roles you have on your books, i'd love to come in and
have a chat and maybe show you some of the more resent examples of my
work.
Thanks
Alex Woodcock
