About me
I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand, where I completed a degree in Industrial Design at Massey University. After graduating, I began working at New Zealand's top furniture design studio, Formway Design. Formway are best known for their work with Knoll International which includes the Life and Generation task chairs. I developed the second generation of the Free and Grid desk systems, which included desk accessories and screen systems.
I began working for Pli Design soon after arriving in the UK at the end of 2007. During the development of Pli's product ranges, particularly Whitechapel and Pennyfields, I became passionate about making commercially viable products on very tight budgets, whilst still retaining my design style: simple lines, effortless function, thoughtful details and expressive materials.
I am currently working as a design consultant specialising in design for manufacture and Solidworks.
