About me

I graduated in 2007 from the University of Teesside with a BA (Hons)
Degree in Graphic Design. Since May 2008 I have worked as an In House
Graphic Designer for a local leisure company. Here, I have gained
valuable professional experience, working with various clients
throughout the company. As part of the marketing team, I have plenty of
experience in creating initial ideas and concepts and developing
through to final designs and sending off to external printers. I have
thoroughly enjoyed working here, but now feel it is time to face some
new creative challenges. I am eager to learn new skills and broaden my
knowledge within the design industry.
In my free time I'm learning HTML/XHTML and CSS; Studying a
Diploma in Copywriting; and have recently invested in a Nikon D60 DSLR
to improve my photography skills. I have a passion for brands and
understand the importance of consistent branding; and clear
marketing/advertising strategies.
I'm looking for a new creative role; and I feel I have many
