Dear Sir or Madam,

I am responding to the job advertisement posted on Creativepool for the role of Conceptual Copywriter. Please find attached my CV.

I currently work for Mansion, based in Gibraltar, and I am looking to move back to the UK. In my role as Web Editor, I am responsible for writing promotional copy for the Retention/Conversion marketing teams. This involves working from an initial brief to the sign off stage, where it is then sent for translation. Promotional communications that I write include emails, SMS, promotional banners, promotional webpages and in client messages.

I am adept at handling multiple projects and prioritise my workload day to day in order to meet deadlines and deliver quality work every time. I hate being late and this shows in how organised and punctual I am with my work.

As well as promotional writing, I am responsible for updating 5 different brand websites, in over 40 different languages. This involves building promotional webpages with HTML, within a bespoke CMS, and updating any content on the websites when needs be. I work closely with other teams in the office, including staff in Bulgaria and Israel, to ensure any bugs or fixes are quickly implemented and deployed to the live sites.

During my time working for an SEO agency in Covent Garden, I worked closely with various different clients, including Wolf and Badger, UnaVista and Expedia in order to write search engine optimised articles. As well as being responsible for writing copy for these clients, I proofed every piece of writing that our team of writers produced, making sure it was grammatically sound and interesting to read. My main achievement whilst working my 3 month contract at Orchid Box was the fact that I utilised my past relationships and contacts in order to secure a Huffington Post blog account, which I then used to increase the value of the client's respective SEO campaigns.

I feel that my experience and skills, as well as my passion, creativity and strong work ethic, would highly benefit this role and that I would soon become a valuable team member. I am keen to work for an exciting organisation that is moving forward and one that appreciates the value of someone who can think outside of the box.
