've always been fascinated with art - not the quick, instant form, but rather the process. Some live for the pursuit of happiness, but I've found myself embracing happiness in the pursuit.

I started doodling way back - in a dark, distant archival room of a Singapore Museum you might find my 13 year old drawing (horrible now by current standards). Jumped into Graphic Design when I turned 17 and never looked back. Experienced the fair share of client hell as a graphic designer.

Somehow along the way I picked up a camera and managed to do something decent with it. I've been blessed to work with brands like Sony, Samsung, Puma & Adidas. Didn't want to stagnate, so I enrolled in Fashion Design soon after completing conscription.

I've dabbled in other mediums like Film, Screen Printing, Leathercraft &, Spray Painting - A certain RedBull Canvas Cooler I was commissioned to do lies in a restaurant I was not commissioned enough to afford.

About 5 years back I started my brand Tokubetsu Na Mono, which allows me to constantly keep my skills relevant - specifically Branding, Photography, Graphic & Fashion Design. Being able to experience first hand production planning and study/choose/learn about technical fabrics.'s a fantastic roller coaster ride of sorts! Plus a little bit of marketing here and there. As a 1 man brand the lure of totalitarian creative control is often beguiled by the exhaustion of turning into a Multi Purpose Tool.

My obsession lies with constant learning through the multi-disciplines - I'm a huge believer that a complete 'artist' & fantastic work can only be achieved by having experience and in the various forms of art. The more you know, the less you know.
