About me

Hello There,

My name is Alex Ioanna, a graphic designer currently based in Newcastle.

Since graduating in 2009, my passion for design has grown including my interest in everything print. I believe that the tactile function of the printed page creates a connection with reader that cannot be compared. This belief has led me to undertake many letterpress and silk-screen projects, some of which have been exhibited at the D&AD design show. I have great interest in typography and often turn to the old masters including, Stanley Morrison and Jan Tschichold for inspiration.

I have great experience working within the industry as a Designer and Client Service Manager. This has given me great insight into the production process and have worked with a variety of clients seeing projects through from design to the final product. I am currently looking for new opportunities to work as graphic designer and keen to offer my skills, ideas and gain new experiences.
