About me

I have over six years of web design experience, with three years' experience as a website administrator and lead designer, maintaining content management systems such as Mambo and Joomla. I also have extensive experience of developing PHP-based web applications, with a focus on development within content management systems such as Mambo and Joomla.

I have excellent PHP, (X)HTML and CSS knowledge, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and ease-of-use, and have a wide-ranging portfolio of work in news- and information-focused websites.

My experience also includes newspaper and magazine production, including the launch of a highly successful student newspaper and its online counterparts.

Software experience includes the use of the full Adobe Creative Suite; more details are included in my CV.

I also have more than 18 months' team leadership and project management experience, having worked in a managerial and supervisory role for a non-profit student charity between July 2007 and July 2008.
