About me

Acting Technical Coordinator in 3D Making, Kensington & Battersea. Overseeing the day to day operations and health and safety of wood, metal, plastics and digital manufacturing workshops across two campuses. Coordinating staffing, machine maintenance, working practices and purchasing for two busy workshops comprised of multiple highly skilled teams of technical staff. Working with academic staff to support the delivery of their programs and assisting students with the design and production of their work. Regularly liaising with Student reps and the Student Union to improve the student experience within the technical areas and working with the Technical Manager on service improvement and future planning.

3 month Design Internship with Hill-Rom, France, Kingston University Workshop Technician - Specializing in 3 Axes & 4 Axes CNC machinery and supporting software, Kingston University Digital Media Technician - Specializing in supporting 2D & 3D Design Software , Freelance Designer and Designer/maker, Co-founder and manager of NUU - A small design studio (www.nuuonline.co.uk) Developing products from concepts to manufacture and to market as well as participating in various design shows and exhibitions in the UK and Europe, Co-founder and manager of The Work Shop - A small retail outlet in the centre of Kingston-Upon-Thames (www.the-work-shop.org) Selling work from kingston University Students, Graduates and Staff
