About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

While currently working as a freelance exhibition designer, I have now completed designs for companies including Microsoft, Yamaha and Harley Davidson among others.

Each design was completed independently from scratch and all included conceptual sketch work, detailed 3d CAD models, Photo-realistic renderings and technical layout drawings for manufacture.

Prior to this I attained a 2.1 BA Hons in Product Design. Throughout University I learnt in depth all of the essential practices that take place within any design project, and have become fluent in several CAD packages, several rendering programmes as well as the full Adobe suite.

Having developed a real passion for the exhibition/ Retail interiors' industry I feel my skills and enthusiasm are perfectly suited to designing and developing POS arrangements.

My 3 year apprenticeship in Design and Manufacture at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars gives me an in depth technical knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials, and have found this knowledge invaluable while developing any project I undertake to ensure that final designs can be attained and produced on time and on budget.

I am a creative, reliable and diligent individual and am always excited by the prospect of learning and developing myself.

Fluent in: SolidEdge, Solid Works, Photoshop, Illustrator,keyshot and Cinema 4D., As well as being competent in various CAD, renderring and editing softwares, I am experienced in various manufacturing arena's, predominantly automotive and furniture.

Sector Experience

Freelance Exhibition Design - 2012, I have completed a range of freelance exhibition design projects via an events company for large brands including Microsoft, Ducati and Aprilia. This has included initial concept work through to final 3D CAD & rendering as well as technical drawings and material specifications., Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Woodwork Design & Manufacture Apprentice., Sep 2006 - Sep 2009., My apprenticeship schedule consisted of two days a week college attendance, and three days a week in the work place. I did rotations in various departments, but was based primarily in the wood shop and design, gaining hands on experience in all aspects of product design and manufacture. My enthusiasm and determination saw me challenged with live projects for the creation of new bespoke parts and new manufacturing solutions.
