About me

I am currently working in retail part time, while doing freelance design and illustration work. Freelancing has enabled me to be involved with some interesting projects but I now want to quit my part-time job and work full-time doing what I love with like-minded people. I've really enjoyed the freelance work I have done and have been able to hone my skills greatly in both the creation and laying out of artwork. I have had the luxury of being able to do some interesting projects of my own and for others but feel that I'd like to be part of an on-going team that I can make a positive contribution towards as well as learn from and build on my skills with.

I have used Macs since I was young and as a result can work swiftly and confidently with them. I have a good working knowledge of related systems such as printing, networks and peripherals. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, using it daily with my illustration work. I have learnt to use shortcut keys and be fast at what I am doing. I can use Indesign for layout and type and have a good knowledge of outputting for print, having worked at a digital printers and worked with print shops frequently in my freelance work. Having used countless programs over the years I can pick up new ones quickly and confidently.
