To Whom it may concern,
I am writing to apply for the position of creative services/studio manager at Red Sofa London, as advertised on creativepool.co.uk.
I am currently working as a studio manager and PA at Nicola Killeen Textiles based in London Fields, and am looking to progress in a similar role so I can develop my skills and continue to be challenged in my working environment.
My current day to day work mainly involves managing a small team in the studio, seeing mulitple projects through from concept to delivery often within a very hectic environment, whilst all the while ensuring everyone is happy and working to the best of their ability and that deadlines are being met.
I believe I would be perfect for the advertised role as I have 3 years experience behind me that have allowed me to gain a better understanding of project management within a creative environment,- the stress, the issues accompanying clashing ideas, whilst all the while fully understanding that a happy team is more productive. I strive to create a smooth working environment making everyone's lives as easy as possible and being the first point of contact for everyone from client to staff.
