Hi there, thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

My name is Aleksandar, I'm a graphic & web designer and I would like to tell you a little about myself and my work experience.

Born and raised in Novi Sad, Serbia, where I currently reside. In my childhood I was introduced to arts and crafts where I started to develop and interest for design in general.

My first real contact with graphic design was when I started attending graphic high school, where I studied about prepress and the printing process itself. Naturally, the focus was more on the engineering part than the design part which is the reason why I first develop an interest in prepress and print techniques.

After high school, I continued my studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Department of Graphic Engineering and Design. Again, the greater focus was on the engineering part, but in combination with the design as digital art. I was in my third year of studies when I started to see a clearer direction of where I wanted my future career to go.

Also, in my third year of college, was the first time I started working in the graphic industry as a prepress technician in a local printing house. The experience I gained as a prepress technician was a great foundation to start a career in graphic design.

After my faculty days, I can say I had interesting career turns. I started as a prepress technician and moved on to be a freelance graphic designer, full-time employment as a graphic and web designer, co-founder of two startups, conference co-founder and creative director. Today I have my own design agency where I work as a graphic and web designer.
