About me

My name is Alejandra, I would love to get to know the creative world more because I like to create intuitive environments, abstracts scenes and impossible dreams, and I think I want to learn new experiences in a new place where there are fantastic artists and I will create with us awesome ideas.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Architecture and Design (graduated with honors) from Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain. My studies were focused on Architectural drawings, concepting and developing 3-D. As a student I have been involved in all kinds of art projects; art installation, 3D scenes, short films, art restoration, interior designs, set designs, photography and fashion designs. Also, I collaborated with a small restoration company in Spain and I did a summer internship in Studio77 in Madrid. During my last year in University, My final project was to create a kindergarten in Madrid. The main idea is to create different three-dimensional spaces from a two-dimensional vision. It is an open labyrinth where the children can curiously observe the world. Also in my University I did different architectural and design projects where I used all kinds of techniques like drawings, handmade physical models, 2-D and 3-D.

Shortly after finishing my Studies in Madrid, I decided to come to San Francisco, CA, where I studied a few classes at California College of the Arts and got to work on many short films, photography set design, fashion design and 3D environment development. I am looking to work on projects with imaginative spaces beyond reality. I have a friend studying at Academy of the Art University and that gave me a great opportunity to help him with concepting and set designing both advertising and short movies where I enjoy creating scenes and fashion clothing. Also I made a product design project with 3-D and architectural drawings for the campaign. The last project that we have been working on is a surrealism short film in Death Valley, I created a few temporal art installation, set designs and props in order to shoot the short movie. Also We got selected in The Experimental Short Film Festival, Lomokino Premiere from Lomography. Recently I have created a flowery set design and a photocall to Lomography Store in Vogue Fashion Night Out Madrid 2012, promoted by Macallan Whisky. Also I continue creanting my own fashion hat collection and right now I am designing a 300-button blazer that I want to promote in Kickstarter.com
