About me

I'm Fashion BA (Hons) graduate from The University Of Edinburgh, Edinburgh College of Art.

After graduating in 2019 I worked in the Fashion Industry interning for luxury brands Xiao Li, Gareth Pugh and Mira Mikati as a design assistant. During my time working with these designers I used Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design daily. I assisted the design team with CAD's to send off to production, organised final trims and fabric selections, edited spec sheets, prepared parcels and assisted in final adjustments before production.

During Covid I started working in the Film and TV Industry in various roles within the costume department. I was involved in many fittings, working closely with the design and development teams on what needed to be changed and altered. I have also been in the making and alterations department since I have excellent sewing and pattern cutting skills which I developed to a high level at university. I have had extensive experience when it comes to cutting out toiles and preparing patterns to be sent out. I also thoroughly enjoy hand sewing and creative pattern cutting, both skills I have used extensively in my jobs in the Film and TV industry.

Even though the last few jobs I have done have not been in the fashion industry, the skillset has been the same. I have excellent organisational and communication skills. I believe helping with costumes for massive productions have shown me how to work effectively within a fast -paced environment.

I have worked on productions such as House of the Dragon (Game of Thrones prequel), Napoleon (2023), Bridgerton (S3), Starstruck (S3), Endevour (S9) and Saltburn (2023). Working alongside costume designers as well as armourers and makers has provided me with a wide range of fashion and construction knowledge from so many different time periods.
My university and industry experiences have challenged me and prepared me for a career in this industry. I communicate professionally and always with a positive attitude to ensure I take advantage of ever opportunity. I'm a vibrant, result-driven professional who can thrive under intense situations. I am eager to prove myself as an asset to your team with great work ethic.
