About me

Alayna is a Senior Art Director with an upbringing in the UK, an adolescence spent in Japan and an advertising career built in Australia. With 10 years experience spanning across agencies such as Ogilvy, M&C Saatchi, DDB and Clemenger BBDO, alongside a continuing commitment to DEI initiatives and mentoring programs in both local and international markets, she has developed a reputation for championing diversity of thought and putting community and collaboration at the heart of her creative process.

Notable accolades include being shortlisted for Cannes See It Be It 2026 cohort, being selected as a Rare with Google Masterclass delegate in 2019 and rejoining as part of the Rare with Google Leadership Academy in 2022, launching Little Black Book's content series 'Women Who Will', tutoring AWARD School in both 2022 and 2025, creating DDB Melbourne's first ever paid internship 'Adprenticeship' to support socio-economically diverse talent, and her ongoing role as co-chair of Australia's first LGBTQIA+ advertising industry platform 'Friends of Rhonda' since 2024, proudly producing and curating the platform's 'Queerxhibit' in collaboration with Truce Productions as part of this tenure.
