About me

Children's picturebook illustrator based in Ireland.

Alan has worked as a designer, creative director and marketer for over 15 years winning many awards including a BAFTA nomination.

He is now making up stories in words and pictures that make himself and hopefully others laugh (or even just a good eye roll).

Alan is writing and illustrating his first Picturebook that wonders what happens when the page is too small.

For his illustration, Alan works mostly digitally and tries to keep it rough enough to show the process, energy and brushstrokes that have gone into making each panel.

Alan lives with his family beside the sea in the north east of Ireland.
