Hello,

I have been managing design and production teams, and studios and agencies for a number of years, so have the skills and competencies to be an excellent fit for the Creative Services Manager role you are looking to fill.

More recently, I have been given the additional responsibilities of client services and project/account management, supporting the wider account teams to ensure clear lines of communication between the client and the studio, whilst ensuring the smooth running of a creative and artwork/digital team. Whilst I am always happy to add value to any role, and enjoy the opportunity to build client relationships, studio/creative services management is where my heart is and where I feel I can add the most value. I am extremely passionate about what I do and I strive, with all my energy, to support my teams and help them produce the best work that, collectively, we/they can.

I have been responsible for the day-to-day management of teams of designers, and agency support/admin staff. I have mentored junior designers, and managed the development of teams in all the areas you highlight. I have successfully managed teams in full-service agencies and also those with a more specialised focus i.e. consumer and trade advertising, branding, marketing and retail, covering design for print, outdoor and digital/online, including social and mobile.

My background is as a creative artworker, before moving up to studio, production and creative services management and as such, I have a sense for what works, and a level of intuition to know whether we have answered our client's brief. I am used to juggling resources, projects and deadlines, and take time to get to know the team so that I can work to their individual strengths (and weaknesses) managing everything in a way that keeps things moving and allows people to do what they do best, free of unnecessary stress, interruptions and distractions. I work well on my own initiative and equally well as part of a team. I'm calm under pressure and work best when there is a lot going on and deadlines to juggle.



With experience of working both agency and client-side, I am used to dealing with a range of external suppliers and other creative agencies. I am strong on trafficking and systems & processes, and have evolved these in a number of my roles to increase efficiency and make significant savings both on internal and external costs. I have a very good eye for detail and I am a proficient proof- reader and proof checker. I am a good communicator and have always forged strong relationships at all levels be they internal, client, or external supplier.

I believe I am ideally suited to this role. I can offer experience, commitment and passion that will truly add value. I feel I would be an asset to the company and would complement the existing studio team.
