Dear Sir/Madam,

I am submitting my CV for your consideration.

I feel that I would be appropriate for this position as I have recently passed my exams as a Certified Internet Webmaster, and also E-commerce and Project management. Not only are these industry recognised qualifications, but they have provided me with a substantial understanding as to what is required of me to be a functional professional.

I am currently developing web sites to be used in the corporate and leisure events industry, which will require a fully functional database access, along with contact email and query forms. While templates are used occasionally, hand coded XHTML and CSS are my preferred choice.

I am currently expanding on my knowledge of Cold Fusion and Javascript in my personal time, and hope to study, and master other scripting languages that will make me as diverse and adaptable to all situations.

My current position puts me as a junior manager role in a Landscaping company. While this industry is far removed from IT, I feel it further emphasises how adoptable and comprehensive I can and need to be in order to get the job done in a professional manner.
