About me

I am an extremely meticulous person who thoroughly enjoys writing and producing copy for a variety of mediums. Throughout my degree I learnt to write for a number of different publications, and as a result I am able to produce content for a wide range of products and companies.

Upon graduating I worked for a start up company, South Yorkshire Renewable Energy. As a new company I was required to work longer hours and take on a lot of responsibility. I relished this challenge and I found the task of promoting renewable energies an interesting one.

I have just completed six months teaching English as a second language in a secondary school in Thailand. During my time there I blogged about my experiences and although it was often quite a challenging environment, I relished the opportunity to use my creativity in creating interesting lessons for my students.

I currently work freelance for Virtual Travel Guides producing copy for a number of websites. Although I enjoy this job immensely I am looking for a full-time position that will allow me to demonstrate both my creatively and my passion for writing.

I am a sociable, keen individual who is able to work alone, unsupervised, using my own initiative to problem-solve. I am confident and very independent whilst also fully aware that teamwork is an essential part of completing tasks effectively and efficiently. My strong inter-personal and social skills allow me to connect with people whom I am working with. My organisational and time management skills proved extremely valuable throughout my three years at university and as a result I earned a 2:1 degree.
